Tyler Hutt has been with SPEC since 2014 – initially while completing his BA in Marketing Communications from California Lutheran University and eventually earning a visible role supporting clients in various capacities as assistant account executive.
Graduating in the spring of 2015, His degree focused primarily on PR, brand development and integrated marketing campaigns, developing a passion for brand identity and cohesiveness.
Hutt initially studied graphic design before quickly taking an interest in marketing through a class in rhetoric of mass media. His interest in marketing quickly grew and in his senior year he helped found and serve as Vice President of Cal Lutheran’s American Marketing Association Collegiate Chapter.
During his time with SPEC, He has worked on a variety of agency clients including Yamaha, Silver Air, Tread Lightly!, CAEM, Levity Entertainment Group and Sondors eBike honing his skills and gaining valuable experience from writing and market research to major product launches and photo/video shoots.
Outside of marketing, Hutt is a passionate hockey fan and avid snowboarder. During Southern California’s summer months, he can be found at the beach, camping, hiking, and kayaking. He has also been playing guitar badly for nearly 15 years.
