Katrina Younce

PR SPECIALIST

Katrina Younce is a PR consultant with nearly 20 years of corporate and agency communications experience across complementary industries: sports, entertainment, media and lifestyle. With a genuine love for building relationships, she is focused on helping people and brands tell their most important stories to the world through media.

For the past decade, Katrina has managed projects and account teams for clients ranging from major brands and global nonprofits to professional sports teams and large-scale events. Previously, she held communications positions at top tier media companies including NBC Universal and G4 Networks.

Recent clients include, the Vans US Open of Surfing, one of the world’s largest action sports festivals taking place every summer in Huntington Beach, Calif.; Phelps Brand, the competitive swim line co-founded by the most decorated Olympic swimmer of all time, Michael Phelps; Laureus World Sports Awards, the global awards honoring the greatest sportsmen and women across all sports each year; Team Novo Nordisk, a global team of athletes with diabetes, including a professional cycling team competing in 75+ countries; and Good Sports, a national nonprofit dedicated to reversing the declining youth sports participation rates by providing new sports equipment, footwear and apparel to kids in need.

Katrina began her career at The Lippin Group, one of the leading independent entertainment public relations and marketing firms in the world. Over the course of three years, she rose to Senior Account Executive and worked on high-profile accounts like, The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences where she led media credentialing and PR for the Emmy Awards, the People’s Choice Awards, Paramount Network Television Productions and Wolf Films.

A graduate of The University of Montana with a degree in Communications Studies, Katrina currently resides in Irvine, Calif. with her husband and their very energetic eight-year-old daughter.
