Lisa Spicer
Strategic Advisor and Co-Founding Partner
Communications is less a career, more of a calling for Lisa. With three decades of experience developing communications strategies for brands in outdoor recreation, consumer packaged goods, healthcare, food and beverage, and professional services sectors, Spicer delivers refined public relations counsel and expert writing skills to craft campaigns and content that resonates, informs, and influences.
For nearly 18 years, Lisa has served as Grant Administrator for the Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative, managing the complete lifecycle of grant operations from identifying and vetting potential recipients to conducting comprehensive follow-up with beneficiaries. This extensive experience in outdoor recreation program management has given her unique insight into the intersection of consumer products, outdoor access, and community engagement in the recreation industry.
Lisa's professional path has mapped the launch of new companies, new brands, and new products, as well as invigorating the cultural relevancy of stalwart institutions. She has worked with some of the world's most-recognized consumer and outdoor recreation brands, including Yamaha Motorsports USA, Anheuser-Busch, Nestlé USA, Sony Pictures Entertainment, United Airlines, and numerous healthcare and professional services organizations. An L.A. native, she has counseled some of the country's largest municipal agencies, such as the City of Los Angeles' Department of Water and Power, the Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors, and the Los Angeles Community College District.
Growing up in Topanga Canyon, Lisa’s atypical L.A. upbringing developed a deep, personal passion for the outdoors and a life-long commitment to land stewardship. These values inform her strategic approach to OR brands seeking to connect with like-minded consumers.
